natural window art

I love the natural art coming through my window.  when my husband and I bought this house {which was built in 1895} about 8 years ago…he asked me why we didn’t have any window treatments…{lol}  I just love the natural light that comes through every window.  I have never been a fan of heavy window treatments and there is probably a little truth in that I am a bit intimidated by them.  It’s a major commitment in my opinion and I love the simplicity of our classic window panes.  & of course I love the hydrangea trees! is it fall yet?

believe me, I do not want the summer to end but I do love fall fashion!

I just came across a new site, kiss & makeup…love it.  I found it because I was searching for a new pair of TKEES, my favorite flip flops.  {I want them in every color…see below}.  This is where I found these super cool, matisse dove rider boots in black {$255} and the L*Space boho floppy back hat!  {sorry, sold out}.  The fold-over clutch I found on lane-knight.  This is a super cool site and I just fell in love with this clutch – Clare Vivier Flat Clutch in Royal Blue Pebble.  Enjoy!  xo Corry

the other day I found myself in sephora {overwhelmed} and in heaven with the incredible inventory of product.  wow.  I was there for one product in particular, josie maran, 100% pure argan oil.

I fell in love with…{island company}

so, I bought the cutest beach tank dress at my ultimate favorite store, snappy gator in fairfield, CT…and then my husband washed it  & put it in the dryer…it is now a tank top {sigh}.  I fell in love with this simple cotton dress that I used as a cover up and now it is basically not wearable anymore.  SO, I decide to check out the island company website who made the dress and I fell in love with everything…how great is this tee above???!!!  LOVE IT!!  check out all of my NEW purchases & sweet casual style {must haves!} ♥

I love everything about summer.  This May cover photo of Lauren Conrad captures summer and beauty all over it.  She looks absolutely beautiful in this photo…so natural and beachy!  here are a few other photos that epitomize summer for me…

there is nothing like a summer clam/lobster bake with corn on the cob!

I love how my 2 year old son thinks the grill marks on corn on the cob makes it “dirty”!  too cute!

love life* is a new book I bought on vacation this week and I am so excited to share it with you…

along with some other goodies I picked up on my trip!  ♥

this book has some amazing quotes about loving the moments, simple pleasures, taking chances, love your friends & family, love the outdoors, love the open road, love to be amazed…I could go on and on.

This book was a true inspiration to me!!

happy Americana

I came across this adorable {americana} entryway mat from THOS.BAKER $39 {not bad!}

I think this was the first time I got this catalog…very cool but very expensive outdoor living.

I have a pool and find it incredibly frustrating how expensive chaise lounge chairs are!!  This is why we don’t have any right now and I am on the hunt for nice, reasonable chaise lounge chairs – please post back if you have found any {not cheesy either}!
