sweet casual birthday…

today was my birthday and I felt I ought to say something about it…in fact my husband asked me if I did a post about my birthday…about the presents I received, etc.  I told him that the greatest gift was our baby ben and all he had to do it put a big bow on him and I would be happy.  birthdays come and go now and although I think they are special…it is not about me anymore, at all…and that is a good thing!  the greatest gifts in life are not material things…they are the relationships, friendships and love you have for your family, friends, pets {chocolate lab love…I got many kisses from jake & sadie today}.  my husband Chris went to Westport to pick up my ultimate favorite cupcakes from Great Cakes…it was so sweet and thoughtful…my boys took me out to dinner and we came home and ate cupcakes (even though Chris is on a paleo diet!)…that is love I guess!  anyway…I am very grateful for the amazing birthday messages on facebook, emails, text messages and voice mails…I feel very lucky and blessed.  happy birthday to me…♥  featured image from birthdaygirlblog love it!
