a fall day of reflection…

i took this photo in my mudroom…today was such a beautiful fall day and i am very excited for autumn…i am all about hats, scarves, jeans and boots!  chris and i love this season…especially in new england.  we went to college together – so we feel very nostalgic around this time of year!  we are so lucky to live in such a beautiful part of the country.

as the work week comes upon us, i feel very grateful that baby ben likes his new day care.  his nanny left us about a month ago to go to s. carolina because her mom was sick.  after the first week of updates on her mom…we never heard from her again.  it is very disheartening for me.  i am still so sad about it.  i feel betrayed and confused that she would do this to us.  she worked with us 3 years prior as our cleaning lady and we treated her like family.  oh well.  know i must let it go and focus on the positive.  we all need to do that and once again…it puts everything into perspective.  have a great week everyone!  xo corry

just read this and love the pic! actually your website gives me such warm memories of our Mom, since the art and beauty was all about her! suspect your friend is really struggling with what is going on with her Mom and not knowing her, suspect it is has to do where she is at! try not to let go, if you can reach out to her, especially if her life is in a dark spot… besides it is hard when we don’t do things right and have the energy / courage to make things right! sorry you have lost an important person in your family circle and do hope it is just temporary and not all is lost… your website is so inspiring and beautiful like you! you are loved and loving… more then all the objects! continue to be the sunshine and reflect God’s goodness — oh how He has shown us and blest us! hugs and kisses to you! –leb
